 Athlete Mentorship

The Athlete Mentorship program provides a unique link between all levels of athletics within The Steadward Centre.  High performance athletes act as role models to younger, developing athletes.

Athletes may be matched one on one or in small groups (e.g. track club) which allows top level athletes, like basketball athlete Danielle Peers and racer Tony Flores, to share tips, skills and knowledge related to their sport as well as provide guidance in relation to the disability sport community.  Athletes are matched on an ongoing basis.
